
Summer Camp 2013
London Waldorf School’s Summer Camps provide a balanced experience of doing, feeling and thinking in a way that fosters fun, creativity and a sense of well-being. Your children will be in a harmonious environment where rhythm and structure encourage opportunities for free play, crafts and a variety of artistic activities.
Please come prepared to be outside comfortably.
Junior Camp (Preschool/Kindergarten | Ages 3 to 5):
Full-day program runs 8:30 - 3:30; half-day program 8:30 - 12 noon. A supportive environment with a variety of activities including singing, circle time, stories, creative play, and outdoor adventure in our naturalized playground.
Senior Arts Camp (Grade School | Ages 6 to 11):
Full-day program runs 8:30 - 3:30. A week of balanced and age-appropriate activities including art, crafts, creative and dramatic play, and outdoor activities.

Theme | Description |
| June 24-28 | Mixed Media | Create exciting works of art by combining various techniques. At the end of the week your creations will be cut up and recombined into a name plate, a collage and much more. |
| July 2-5 | Painting and Drawing | Layered painting, shape and form abstract painting, action painting, large-scale whole-body painting, crayon drawing and more: explore various techniques in both mediums while stretching the boundaries of your creativity. |
| July 8-12 | Yoga, Crafts, Swordplay | Explore animated poses in nature and create beautiful art inspired by the elements. Make and decorate your own wooden sword and use it with a partner. |
| July 15-19 | Mixed Media & Sculpture | Clay sculpting, plaster casting, masks, mixed media collage, nature showcase, fibre crafts. |
| July 22-26 | Swordplay, Crafts, Yoga | Create and decorate a wooden sword and learn an ancient Chinese partner sword routine. Make arts and crafts inspired by the yoga and sword activities. |

July 29-Aug 2 |
Painting and Drawing | Watercolour and acrylic painting, drawing with charcoal, pencil crayon and wax crayon. Work with the 2 mediums combined. Draw from still life and nature. Paint on various surfaces. |

August 5-9 |
Sculpture | Create sculptures using found materials, wire, mixed media, and clay. Make wind chimes, soft sculptures, and weaving. |

August 12-16 |
Theatre and Performance | Become the cast and crew: learn lines, paint murals as a backdrop for the play and help with the construction of props in preparation for a performance Friday afternoon. |

Complete your Registration Form. We have two versions of our registration form, one for families who have children enrolled at London Waldorf School, and one for families who do not have children at the school. Please select the appropriate form for your circumstances.

STEP TWO:
Complete the General Consent Form.
STEP THREE:
Complete the Registration and General Consent forms and send them, along with payment in full, to:
