London Waldorf School is operating via our online platform from Monday March 23 until Monday, April 6th, consistent with the recommendations made by the Ontario government on March 12, 2020.

We are closely monitoring this rapidly changing situation and will update families if we are required to extend that period of time.

Parents of students attending London Waldorf School will have received an email with instructions for activating their account.

  • If you are a parent and have technical questions please email [email protected].
  • If you have already activated your account and are simply looking for the login site, please ensure you are logged into your correct Google account and then click here to be taken to your Google classroom.

FAQ for Parents re LWS and COVID-19

How do I setup/use/troubleshoot Google Classroom or the ECE Google website?

Email [email protected]. This account is actively being monitored and responded to.  We expect that there will be a high volume of support requests during the first week as everyone becomes familiar with the new platform. Please rest assured that we are responding to requests as quickly as we can in the order in which they are received.  We appreciate your patience and understanding.

I think I have symptoms of COVID-19. Do I report this to the school?

No. Please visit an assessment centre or give the Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU)  a call at 519-663-5317.  The most up-to-date public health information, including location and hours of assessment centres, can be accessed at the MLHU COVID-19 web page.

What is the school doing to track COVID-19 in our community?

Following the direction of the health authorities, it is not the role of the school to track or manage cases of COVID-19.

When the health unit is informed of a confirmed case, there is a protocol in place to investigate. Anyone who has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be contacted directly by the health unit.

When will we be back in the classroom?

As this is a rapidly evolving situation, we  cannot predict when we may be able to re-join each other in the building. Rest assured that the Faculty and Board of LWS are closely monitoring the situation and following the directions of the public health officials and that we will communicate with you regularly as new information becomes available.

If the school is closed, do I still need to pay tuition?

While it would be unsafe to hold regular classes in our school building at this time, the school is doing everything possible to deliver age-appropriate learning and support for all of our students. Please refer to the letter from the Board found here for more information.
