Homeschooling Visitor Day

HomeGrade School › Homeschooling

Once a week, London Waldorf School opens its classrooms to welcome home schooled children to join our Waldorf students in experiencing the enriched curriculum that Waldorf Education offers.

We emphasize a social and artistic experience for our home schooling visitors. Children will begin the day as a group, in Handwork Class with Program Coordinator, Handwork Teacher, and accomplished textiles artist Dasha Kovar. Children will engage in age-appropriate handwork activities which may include knitting, crocheting, felting, hand sewing, or embroidery.

During the remainder of the day, children will become members of their age-appropriate classes and be included in the regular program  of the day. Curriculum may include: painting, language arts, community service, choir, games, physical education. Homeschooling students will integrate with their appropriate grade during outdoor recess and lunch.
