London Waldorf School was founded in 1980. Our staff of highly trained and loving educators are the foundation of a vibrant learning community that:
• focuses on essential academic and life skills
• works with the whole child to develop self-confidence, and creative thinking
• prepares children to determine their life's direction in a rapidly changing world
Our curriculum and teaching methods are designed to awaken the child's capacities for clear thinking and expression, and to meet them at their developmental stage.
To find out more, please attend our Winter Open House this Saturday, January 13 from 10 am to 1 pm.
We are currently accepting applications for our programs from Toddler and Preschool Licensed Care to Grade Eight.
Our intuition holds the key to the unique way we relate to the world and to our own voice. Through a series of targeted drawing exercises, this course gradually builds up an ability to access one’s own intuitive mode of consciousness, which holds the key to one’s own individual style.
The continued classes focus on explorations of connections between marks and our intuitive knowledge.
Participation is open to all levels. The introductory course “Drawing with Intuition: Part One” is recommended but not necessary.

For Caregivers and their Children from Birth to Three Years Old
The first years of a child’s life are full of growth and learning. The Parent and Child Program at the London Waldorf School is an opportunity for you and your children to share in the wonder of the earliest years. It offers support and guidance for young families as they begin to establish routines that encourage the healthy development of a growing child. It is also an occasion to meet other families, learn about Waldorf Education, and connect with the vibrant community at the school. Together, we will create an environment promoting the healthy development of our young children and their caregivers.
Join us for our weekly infant or toddler program. Each program is tailored to the specific age group and developmental stages, enriched with songs and movement, storytelling (with puppets), and outdoor play. You will find a gentle and nurturing environment for you and your children. It is also a place for you to learn to make handmade crafts, share a wholesome snack and find positive parental support.
This morning of playing, singing, enjoying snack, and story in a calm atmosphere nourishes parents and their young children together one morning per week, starting September to December, 2017. Midsession enrolment is possible. Register now as spaces are filling quickly.
Take a look at this glowing review done on our fellow Waldorf school in Philadelphia! It is very insightful, and much of what is said can be applied to all Waldorf schools. If you'd like a tour of our school, please email email@example.com
