For Caregivers & Their Children
The first years of a child’s life are full of growth and learning. The Parent & Child Program at London Waldorf School is an opportunity for you and your children to share in the wonder of the earliest years. It offers support and guidance for young families as they begin to establish routines that encourage the healthy development of a growing child. It is also an occasion to meet other families, learn about Waldorf Education and connect with the vibrant community at the school. Together, we will create an environment promoting the healthy development of our young children and their caregivers.
Join us for a weekly Infant or Toddler program on the day of your choice. Each program is tailored to the specific age-group and developmental stages, and is enriched with songs and movement, storytelling (with puppets), and outdoor play. You will find a gentle and nurturing environment for you and your children. It is also a place for you to learn to make handmade crafts, share a wholesome snack and find positive parental support.
This once a week program will run from September to June. It includes songs and verses caregivers can do at home with their children, offers developmentally appropriate experiences, time for child observation, a nutritious snack and discussion on gentle approaches to support home-life and early movements.
